Western Union’s digital Ramadan campaign was ready to go when a last-minute media expansion required the content to be adapted for metro stations and malls—adding 72 new videos in 30 unique sizes with only three days to deliver. Traditional editing workflows would have made this impossible. Instead, we turned the challenge into an opportunity to push the boundaries of tech innovation, developing a fully automated video editing solution that transformed the way we approached high-volume content creation.

We Did It
With time working against us, we engineered a bespoke JavaScript-powered automation tool that integrated directly with After Effects. This custom-built solution allowed real-time adjustments to text, images, and keyframes for each video format—removing the need for manual resizing and significantly accelerating the production process. In just 72 hours, we ideated, coded, tested, refined, and successfully delivered all required assets.
