As a contribution to the solution of the trash crisis in the country, Birdie Beirut is starting to recycle its waste at the source; thereby proactively taking the initiative in reducing the impact on national landfills.
This comes after months of popular movements to pressure the government to find a solution for the trash crisis in Lebanon. Garbage has been left uncollected in Beirut and Mount Lebanon since July after the closure of the country’s main landfill.
We are trying to do our part. And we encourage you to do the same.
